Port Dickson..

Imma back from Port Dickson... What a slow and relaxed 3 days it has been.. hehe.. We decided to take the KMT train from JB to Seremban and switch to a cab there. I was excited cos it was my first train ride! 5 hrs later, we reached where we were suppose to be...

We practically lazed around the hotel , had a massage session, swam, strolled on the beach.. The water chalet that we stayed in goes out to the Straits of Malacca.. Kelong style. They had a mini zoo in the courtyard of the hotel and there's a hole assortment of animals there. Chickens, pigeons, rabbits, peacocks, guinea pigs... Quite a sight... The bunnies are too cute for words.

After we got really bored, we went about exploring the town...It seems to be stuck in the 1970s and most parts of it are pretty dead.. There's like one KFC and one PizzaHut to satisfy the town's fast food cravings and one Seven Eleven to see to the necessities. Other than that, shops are few and far between and are reminiscence of those that existed in my early childhood. The one that caught my attention is the bookshop. Very nostalgic.

The common mode of transportation to get around for those who doesn't drive are taxis and they operate on an interesting system. The taxi drivers will pick up passengers en route to a common venue and the fare will be split by the passengers once they reached their destination.. So we paid around 2-3 ringgits if we are lucky to share with people but cost around 5 - 10 ringgits to get around if there's only 2 of us. Met a very interesting taxi uncle who is driving a very beat up Mercs and both of us couldn't help giggling at the irony.. What a huge difference between a Merc cab here and PD.

Pics will be up later....
