Off Day...

I'm off from work today.. Off-in-Lieu for National Day. Hehe.. Finally I can take a breather... Today's my youngest cuz's BDay but we celebrated it in advance yesterday. Met up with him and my Aunt for lunch at Prima Tower Restaurant yesterday. The food was ok.. But we were more facinated with the revolving restaurant......

After that, its a trip down to ikea. Mummy wanted to look at sofa bed for our new maid who's coming in October. Why do we even need a maid? That's another story for another day... Mummy decided against the sofa bed and settled for a mattress instead.. I bought some tealight candles an a small hook on lamp for my mirror cos my room is too dark and affects me when I put on my makeup.

Mummy got all excited over the Mooncake fair over at Taka so we headed down in a cab. The place was packed to the brim and the floor was littered with so many toothpicks that people use for test tasting.. Goodness.. We tried some interesting flavours but the queue was too long so we decided to come back on another day... HOWEVER, mummy managed to haul in a heat cooker or some sorts, and its BIG. I have no idea what she wants to cook that warrants such a big pot.. There's only 3 of us in the house!

Anyway, we decided to call it a day cos the crowd was too scary and took a cab home. That's like 2 cab trips in a single day. Too extravagant... Cab rides are so darn ex nowadays.... Now I'm resting on my couch after the round trip about town yesterday.. Gotta get back to my TeeWee.
